HMS, Inc. is now accepting applications for Field Technicians. These are temporary positions, though we often hire our temps into regular positions.

We look for candidates with strong project management skills and high availability during construction hours, weekends, holidays and summer. Our employees are expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a knack for operating in a complex work environment. That means someone with a good balancing act when it comes to understanding regulations, overseeing contractors, upholding client interests, managing paperwork, and doing it all in a timely, thorough and professional manner.

Candidates must hold or plan to obtain certification as an Asbestos Contractor Supervisor prior to employment.  HMS offers this course for a fee to the general public, and for free to a limited number of qualified internship applicants. See our Scheduled Courses page for more information.

Other requirements for this position include reliable transportation, willingness to travel, and good computer skills.

Construction industry experience is a plus.  Asbestos abatement experience in particular is a huge plus.
